Had a lot of attrition in the program since the end of last season. Lost 6 seniors, who were all major contributors and pieces during their time here. Then lost 4 others who transferred out. So a total of 10 players from last year's team no longer here. But adding 4 true freshman from the #18 rated recruiting class in the nation, as well as a highly-rated transfer setter from UCLA who was ranked the #4 setter out of high school in the 2022 class. Only 13 listed on the roster right now. The future looks bright for the program, but this coming season might be a little bit of a "rebuilding" year with such a young team. Definitely planning to go to a few of these spring scrimmages to see how the team looks.

Reminder that the first spring game is today (Saturday) at home in Reynolds at 3:00pm vs Elon. Open to the public and free admission.

Won the match vs Elon 3 sets to 2. Won the first set 25-23. Lost the 2nd and 3rd sets by about 3 or 4 points each. Won the fourth set by just a couple points. Then won the 5th easily, in the ballpark of 25-15.

Reminder that the final spring volleyball match is this coming Saturday (April 12th) at 12:00 Noon at unc-CH (in Carmichael Arena, I assume). Of course it will be free entry. With it being an exhibition, would be easy for Wolfpack fans to take the place over. I'll be there in red, if nothing else just to piss off the unc fans.

We currently have a 2 game winning streak versus the cheats, and won the last time we played them in chapel hill, in 2023...which I went to. So we have turned the tide in the lopsided series history vs them.
