NC. State men's and women's cross country programs have released their schedule for the 2024 season, as announced by Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Laurie Henes.

The Wolfpack opens the season locally at the Adidas XC Challenge in Cary, N.C., on Friday, Sept. 20.

The team will then compete in two different meets during the first weekend of competition. Part of the squad will travel to Chicago, Ill., for the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational, while others will compete at the ECU Pirate Invitational in Greenville, N.C. Both meets will take place on Friday, Oct. 4.

The regular season concludes with the Elon Phoenix Invitational in Elon on Saturday, Oct. 19. Afterward, the Wolfpack will return to Cary for the ACC Championships on Friday, Nov. 1.

On Friday, Nov. 15, the team will take on the NCAA Southeast Regionals in Fort Mill, S.C., where the top two teams will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

The 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships will be held in Madison, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The women's team enters the season as three-time reigning national champions and has won eight consecutive ACC titles.

The men's team finished 17th at the 2023 national championships, marking its ninth top-20 finish since 2002.
