On day three of the men's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, NC State junior Kacper Stokowski brought home his first National Championship with his 44.04 performance in the 100-yard backstroke.

100 BACKSTROKE:
After finishing as the runner-up in the event at last year's Championship, Kacper Stokowski claimed the first NCAA Championship title of his career in the event Friday night. His finishing time of 44.04 seconds keeps him at No. 2 in program history behind Coleman Stewart's 43.98 program record. Stokowski dropped .40 from his personal best time coming into the meet and is now the 6th fastest performer in history.
