Here is an excerpt from one of the letters:

"It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am.

The idea that I meant to convey, was, that I did not believe that the Lodges of Free Masons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or pernicious principles of the latter (if they are susceptible of seperation). That Individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found, the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects; and actually had a seperation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned."

-- George Washington to G.W. Snyder, October 24, 1798

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

To briefly summarize the letters, a man wrote George Washington who was concerned about the spread of the Illuminati influence and its threat to the United States. He references the Jacobins, who were a group of Freemasons who were associated with the Illuminati, and who were responsible for the French Revolution of 1789-1799.

Washington wrote back to the man, saying that he was aware of the existence of the Illuminati and is also opposed to their "diabolical tenets", but does not believe that the Freemasonic lodges in the United States were, at that time, committed to advancing the goals of the Illuminati.

Over the last decade or two, there have been an increasing number of pop-cultural references to the Illuminati -- for example, the "National Treasure" movie with Nicholas Cage and the recent "Belluminati" commercials by Taco Bell. The reason that Hollywood and the Establishment have done this is because there has been a large awakening to the reality of the "New World Order" agenda and related subjects, and the Establishment are seeking to put their "spin" on the subject in order to try to deceive people, and to cause them to doubt the reality of this agenda.

The Illuminati was/is a real organization. It is the name of a secret society, composed of many of the most powerful people in Europe and the Western world, that was formed in 1776 in Germany, which was hostile to Christianity and sought to overthrow all existing religious and governmental powers and to "rule the world".

The "official" history is that this organization was outlawed by the Bavarian government in Germany in the 1780s and subsequently "disbanded and ceased to exist". That is far from the truth. The members of the group were not imprisoned. They simply went underground and continued their organization and plans via other means.

As is evident in these letters from Washington, and supported by a large volume of other historical evidence, the Illuminati agenda has continued within the Freemasonic organizations. And the power and influence of the Illuminati conspirators and agenda has grown exponentially since the late 1700s -- branching out from Freemasonry and spawning many other organizations and movements who all work together to advance their main goal (ie, a Satanic "New World Order" consisting of a totalitarian one-world government, the destruction of sovereign nation states, etc).

Just one example of other movements spawned from the Freemasons/Illuminati is the communist movement, which Freemasons were intimately involved in funding and supporting. Communism is merely a more modern "incarnation" of the Illuminati agenda. Communism's main goals are identical to those of the Illuminati -- ie, the destruction of Christianity and the establishment of secular or atheist nation-states, break down standards of morality by promoting degeneracy, global revolution and the overthrow of existing forms of government to establish a [communist/Illuminati] "utopia".
