Trump has just started his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when several shots rang out. Trump appeared to be bleeding from his ear, but don't know if that was from gunshots or not. He did walk out with Secret Service and all security around him.

Apparently Trump was grazed by a shot. They just showed the video again and he grabbed his ear. then was covered by security.

I lived through too many of these moments. I was in first grade when Kennedy was assassinated. Was walking home from school and a girl who lived up the street told me he had been shot. My grandmother was visiting and she was shook up.

1968 had the MLK and RFK assassinations. George Wallace was shot and paralyzed in 1972. Attempt on Ford and then Reagan in 1981. That one shook me up too.

I usually don't watch his rallies, but was watching today and history was made.

Newsmax just gave a report that Trump said he was ok and going to be fine so that is good news, but there will probably be more attempts and civil unrest during the summer.

Of course some of the News media headlines don't say anything about an assassination. Just that the rally was stopped by "loud noises and Trump injured at incident."

Apparently another person was killed at the scene(not the shooter). Still getting info on that.

I got off the school bus and found my mother across the sofa crying ...the day JFK was assassinated. I'd never seen my mother so distraught before that.
