Here is the portion of the interview where Charlie says that Israel "stood down" and allowed the October 7 attack to occur. Watch starting at 1:44 in this video. Right after covering the reasons it was a stand down, he says that Israel is going to "try to ethnically cleanse Gaza".

Italians strike after Israeli Navy intercepts Gaza aid flotilla

Italians held a major strike on Friday in solidarity with a flotilla that was intercepted by the Israeli Navy while carrying humanitarian aid towards the Gaza Strip.

The strike caused major disruption across the country, with trains and public transport in cities such as Rome and Milan affected.

Large demonstrations were also planned in several Italian cities throughout the day.

Italy's largest trade union, the General Confederation of Labour (CGIL), called for a general strike after the Global Sumud Flotilla was intercepted by Israel earlier this week.

Israeli authorities took more than 400 crew members from dozens of countries into custody. According to the Foreign Ministry in Rome, 40 Italians were among them, four of whom are members of parliament.

The strike is a direct response to the flotilla being stopped, CGIL said, accusing the Italian government of "abandoning Italian workers in open international waters."

Testimony here from an IDF soldier of a stand down order given on October 7th, instructing the soldiers to NOT patrol the border from approximately 5:00 am to 9:00 am. Also included in this clip is an alleged audio recording of the stand down order.
