The international response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a tremendous warning to xi jinping. I hope he sees that and realizes that the international community wouldn't turn a blind eye to that level of aggression.

I also hope he realizes that china is dependent on importing fuel and food via the shipping lanes than are maintain by the US Navy.

Problem with xi jinping and china is that reason doesn't matter, its really just what ever dear leader wants. If he was smart, they'd want until the Putin regime falls and try and seize Vladivostok. Its a former chinese province with a very valuable port. Its also the gateway to getting raw materials out of Siberia.
