Donald Trump is not a good person. He's egotistical, immature, spiteful, arrogant etc etc etc.

But, I'll be voting for him for the third time on Nov 5. Not because I like him as a person, because I don't, but because I'm voting for his policy's and desperately trying to keep Kamala and her radical agenda out of the White House. This is what I don't understand about all these idiots that are all over social media saying "I've been a republican all my life but I just voted for Kamala Harris!" This is about the dumbest mindset I can fathom.

People need to wake up and listen to Elon Musk for a second. Like him or not, he hits the nail on the head when he says if we lose this election, this will be the last. Sure there will be more elections but the radical left will have unchecked power for decades if she wins. Illegals voting , DC and Puerto Rico as states with liberal congressmen that will permanently tilt the power of Congress, radical changes to the SCOTUS that will ensure the left has control and will side with these radical changes etc. Are these lifelong Republicans really so dumb that they are going to risk it all because Donald isn't a good person? Kamala isn't either. We haven't had a decent human as either party's nominee in decades. You vote for policy and for the country, not because you like one person or the other. I can't wrap my head around that.
Elon Musk is smart enough to know the crap he's spewing is nonsense, and in many cases the exact opposite of reality. Like all oligarchs, though, he's a self-serving tool looking to cash in.

If Trump does win I hope you enjoy Musk's half-baked "full self driving" robo-taxis rushed onto our roads next year rear-ending your F-150.

Ah you shouldn't have edited this. I like the "running over your dog" comment better. In which case it doesn't really bother me, we don't have a dog anymore. But if all of this was just to pad Elons own pockets, wouldn't he be all-in on the candidate closest to supporting the green new deal? The most climate consumed candidate? Not the one that fights for the fossil fuel industry.

You clearly haven't been paying attention.

Elon initially went right-wing bonkers over California regulators telling him he had to close factories at the beginning of the pandemic when his workers were dying left and right. He's currently battling various government regulators because his exploding rockets periodically dump concrete dust and god knows what else all over the neighboring Texas towns, and it's government regulators that will demand safety data before letting him put his robo-taxis on the road, which is pretty existential to Tesla's survival.

So yeah, he's only making an a** out of himself now because he wants someone to make the FAA, the NHTSA, etc cease to exist. Full stop.

I don't think either of those will cease to exist no matter who the president is. But regardless of his motivation what he says makes a ton of sense and is the same thing people have been saying long before he said it.

Lol, whatever you say. Which part makes a "ton of sense"? There's only one party that openly fantasizes about civil war, even here on the Water Cooler, and it ain't the Dems. And if Dems were criminal masterminds at stealing elections, do you really think their master plan would involve somehow sneaking millions of illegal immigrants into the voting booth undetected? Seems like the worst of the available options. And have you noticed that MANY Latino voters came from actual crazy leftist countries and are just as likely to vote Republican? How does that end democracy exactly?

This whole alternate reality you guys are living in only makes a "ton of sense" if you don't stop and think about it for 30 seconds.

LOL good gracious, who said anything about civil war? Read my first post on the subject.....I explained how what he says "makes a ton of sense". I'm not talking about illegal immigrants sneaking into anywhere and voting. I'm talking about the danger of allowing illegal immigrants to vote LEGALLY. You think they are going to vote against the party that gave them a path to citizenship after they came here illegally? The politics of the country they came from is insignificant. Besides the fact that it's unconstitutional, it's also dangerous. I get that you don't like Elon because he supports Trump but that doesn't change the fact that what he says is true. Sorry

Here in the real world it's already illegal for any non-citizen to vote, and I doubt Musk is talking about a problem a decade or longer from now when current immigrants might get citizenship. Of the current Latino population that are citizens, though, no, as a group it they don't seem particularly appreciative for Dems not being openly hostile to them. Some of them seem to think the same way you do... "I'll happily vote for Satan himself if it means preventing women from getting abortions".

The fact that you think our current immigration problem is some sort of Dem election scheme, though, is comical. The U.S. business community needs cheap labor. That's why immigrants come. End of story. Job openings and border crossings have tracked tightly for decades. For Republicans it's a win/win since they can then use the border as their OMG NUMBER ONE ISSUE to keep you perpetually outraged about the immigrant population that they always find a reason to not fix.

If you ever want it to change for real, you need to stop being played like a fiddle.

No I don't think the root problem of our illegal immigration disaster is an election scheme….but you would have to be really naive or stupid to not think democrats see an opportunity here. I mean, why wouldn't they? Kinda smart really. Latinos historically vote more than 2:1 in favor of the democrats and we have 20 million of them. If you find a way to make them citizens and let them vote, they'd never lose another election. BUT, it the tides somehow turned and they started voting 2:1 in favor of the republicans….you can bet your ass the border would be sealed tomorrow and you'd never hear a peep out of another democrat about a "pathway to citizenship."

In the 2020 version of this exercise they prophetically predicted that the outcome of the 2020 election would not be decided on election day because of widespread mail in voting. There would be a red mirage where Trump would look like he was winning, but once the real votes were counted, he would lose to Biden. The rest of the wargaming exercises were how they were planning on getting Donald Trump out of the office if he refused to concede and leave.

There was five wargames and I'm going to summarize the overall gist. Donald Trump somehow remains in office. The options were to cause a rebellion and try to get specific states from seceding from the union. And no, I am not joking and all of this can be researched and verified.

There were only two variables in this wargame exercises, and that was how is the military going to respond and what control will the Democrats have over the street riots that would naturally ensue "organically" meaning well planned and funded by Soros.

On August 11, 2020, there was an article published in Defense One expressly calling for a military coup. When faced with backlash from that article, the Atlantic published the now infamous article about the fake suckers and losers hoax to deflect.

Due to the enormous amount of scrutiny, TIP received after the 2020 election, they have regrouped and renamed themselves to the Democracy Futures Project (DFP). The goal of this new project is to create a unified front of globalist foundations to subvert a second Trump presidency and the nationalist Maga movement. The funding for this comes from the Packard foundation, and Pierre Omidyar.

In May and June of this year they met in Washington DC and they made up teams of red and blue. The teams consisted of former senators and members of Congress of both parties, senior state officials, business leaders, retired flag military officers, trade union leaders, and former Trump administration officials who became never Trump. One such participant was Jamie Raskin.

There were five different wargames, but let me just focus on the one that is most pertinent because it's the one I believe they're going to deploy when Donald Trump wins. The main topic was that riots that would occur throughout the country as a result of Trump winning the election, Trump would go ahead and invoke the insurrection act, and they need to figure out how to subvert this. The second major part of their operation was they were going to stop Donald Trump from deporting the millions of illegal immigrants.

If you would like to read the details of these wargames, I have linked some articles from the Washington Post that discusse this. From those article once you start to deep dive into the names and players and organizations, you can see how dark and disturbing this is.

So how does increasing the Latino population end democracy exactly?

Lol, there hasn't been an immigration bill passed since 1986! Republicans have been blocking every attempt at another immigration bill ever since. If the border was such an obvious and clever Dem advantage I wonder why Republicans haven't been in any particular hurry to do a thing about it for decades?

Probably because every bill proposed by the democrats includes a pathway to citizenship which has been a non-starter for a lot of republicans and not supported largely by the public. BTW there was the Illegal Immigrant Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) passed in 1996, not '86.

Funny, didn't Trump have a Republican House and Senate from 2017-2019? And George W had a Republican House and Senate from 2003-2007. I wonder why it slipped their mind to pass legislation to seal the border or whatever? Seem like kind of a big oversight, given the democracy-ending advantage this whole thing is clearly giving the Dems.

A pathway to citizenship has never existed…..outside of a more secure border what exactly have republican's wanted to change? Historically, if you were caught here illegally, you were deported. I'd love to see a more secure border and until recently that's been supported by both parties. That is until it was decided that a border wall is racist.

I'll assume this word salad is your brain coping with the sudden realization that yes, in fact, you have been played like a fiddle.

Ok, sorry, so you're saying that you guys were totally cool with immigration before Trump decided to make it the cornerstone of his 2016 campaign? But after that it was a frenzy to build a wall, but not pass any real immigration legislation when you controlled everything in 2017? (P.S. he only ended up building a tiny fraction of his wall and Mexico didn't pay for it) And now Elon Musk says democracy will end because of it, but you want to put Trump back in office again, presumably to not fix the problem again? Ok yeah, this is starting to make a "ton of sense".

Tell me if you notice anything about this graph and the corresponding years of Trump and Bidens presidency. Trumps remain in Mexico policy was wildly successful. Biden and Kamala haven't given one bit of attention to the border until…..surprise! Election year. And the democrats tried once again to pass a bill including a pathway to citizenship. Biden and Kamala have been a disaster for illegal immigration and the only reason they pretend to care now is because it's an election year. Other than being spiteful towards Trump, why else would they have cancelled every effective executive order on day 1? And as a surprise to no one, border encounters explode exponentially as soon as he takes office.

I'm not going round and round with you anymore. To blame the border crisis on republicans is a freaking joke. Look at the graph if you don't believe me.

So how does increasing the Latino population end democracy exactly?

Sorry

Oh yeah, the graph that shows immigration spiking on Trump's watch, followed by a global pandemic THAT CLOSED EVERY BORDER ON EARTH, which Trump then got to pretend was his doing (you guys were so exited about that you forgot to ask him to pass actual border legislation). Notice how immigration spiked the second the pandemic emergency was lifted and we legally had to open the border again? Also notice how that spike perfectly corresponded with a massive worker shortage in the U.S.? Amazing how that works.

Lol, yeah, ok man.

LOL. Are we looking at the same graph? 2017 (the year he took office) is the lowest year of illegal border crossings since 1990. Probably a lot longer than that but that's as far back as the graph goes. You think border crossings slowed because of the pandemic!! Too good. And you even put in all caps that every border in the world was closed. LOL. Yea news flash, the border is always closed to illegal crossings but that doesn't stop them. LOL

Have a good night buddy, it's been fun!
