Hey Wolfpackers! A personal associate of mine, Alex Baldwin, is running for Wake County's Soil & Water Conservation District Board. He is a NCSU grad, lives in Raleigh, and a licensed soil scientist. He is the only actual soil scientist running this cycle and I would ask that you visit his website and consider voting for him at the bottom of the ballot.

Thank you!

It is important to have the scientific perspective that Alex brings when voting on measures, and allocating spending/resources towards stopping erosion, protecting local water quality, and connecting with private landowners about establishing best practices for conservation.

He has many years of experience working with NC DWR, USACE, NC DEQ and other agencies with implementing and permitting projects that conserve North Carolina's water resources and would have been a great addition to the board. Even though he lost this go around, he hopes to take the lessons learned from the cycle and run again in 2024.

Also, he only spent $200 on his campaign and received over 80,000 votes, so his amount spent to vote received ratio might be an election record
