It impacts their draft position but not enough to come back to school and play as a SR with zero draft leverage in the 2027 draft.

MLB teams know what those two can do and they'll get drafted and make some nice coin this year. Not as much as they probably get if they played the entire season healthy but more than they'd get as a SR next year. And more than they'd get in NIL money as well.

From what i have read, the injuries will impact draft status, but not enough that either will return to college.

Dudan' s rehab may not be complete by end of 2027 college baseball season based on when he had surgery.
