Also, right fielder has a nice arm for Akron.

Pitcher has a little bit of gas, but made an awful attempt at fielding that excuse me single from McHugh. RF definitely with a hose there, thought he was gonna get him. Looks like maybe a little bit better squad than we played yesterday, and as I type that they drop out three.

Wonder how Wiggins would look at DH.

Still not sure what this team is. Look spectacular beating every team by 20. But not sure what that says more about, States got an amazing offense and outstanding pitching, or these teams they are playing are really really bad.

Good/very good. 4 innings of no hit ball is obviously great, but had a couple walks and a 54% strike rate is a smidge low

I don't really think it's possible to know a whole lot about any team at this point. Transitive property doesn't work, but you can look at common opponents and how they fair. But really, we've had teams that looked like **** at this point in the season and went to Omaha, and teams that were beating the brakes off to start the season that flamed out. Too long of a season to make definitive judgements in week two.

I get that and realize its still really early. But if I could make a basketball analogy it feels like they are playing teams in the 300 rankings and not the 100-250. Im guessing with the ACC being such a strong conference that they hope it will work itself out but going into conference play cant imagine their RPI and SOS will be very strong.

Our non conference schedule is atrocious every year. This is nothing new and it blows my mind that people continue to be surprised by it. We'll get our midweeks against the Coastal's, ECU's, and UNCW's of the world and play a ridiculously tough ACC schedule. That's plenty

I am not sure how useful stacking these types of games like we are right now. Sacred Heart coming in after these 2.

I am not worrried about overall SOS. To me it's just too many teams that don't challenge you in anyway similar to what you will see in the ACC. Everybody getting fat and happy off 87 mph arms. I think a few games to start the season is fine but I am surprised we are stacking these kinds of teams the way we are. Our pitchers aren't facing adversity and learning how to get outs against ACC level comp. Just cruising through without any real adversity.

45 runs in the last 2 games is impressive. Me personally, I'd love to see us run rule SH all 3 games and save some pitching.

You can only schedule the teams that want to play you. Believe me we've tried to schedule some better teams

I don't think EA is trying to save pitching. I think he is trying to build up arms right now. He needs innings for all these guys.
