NC State baseball (11-11, 5-10 ACC) will hit the road this weekend when it travels to conference foe Boston College (14-13, 4-11 ACC) for a three-game set. The teams will play at 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and wrap up the weekend with a 1 p.m. contest Sunday at Harrington Athletics Village in Brighton, Mass.
Friday's game will be broadcast on the ACC Network with Mark Neely and Gaby Sanchez on the call, while Saturday and Sunday's games will air on the ACC Network Extra. There will additionally be a free audio stream on WKNC 88.1 and the TuneIn App.

SERIES HISTORY
Heading into this weekend NC State and Boston College have met 43 times, as the Wolfpack owns a 27-16 advantage in the all-time series.
The teams last met on April 5-7, 2019 in Brighton, Mass., and the Pack won the first two games, 6-5 and 14-3, to take the series. The Eagles avoided the sweep with a 3-1 win in the finale.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State used a nine-run sixth inning to power past Appalachian State on Tuesday evening in Raleigh and earn a 13-2 win. The team's 13 runs tied for the second-most this season, and it was the 11th time this year it has tallied double-digit hits in a game.
The result marked head coach Elliott Avent's 900th win at NC State. He is the all-time winningest coach in NC State history.
Starting pitcher Chris Villaman went six complete innings, tallying seven strikeouts while scattering three hits and allowing one earned run to score to pick up his second win of the year on the mound.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
The Eagles picked up a 5-3 win at Northeastern on Tuesday in its last time out, and in its last conference series on April 1-3 it suffered a series loss at Virginia Tech.
BC was picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic Division of the ACC Preseason Coaches Poll, and position players Sal Frelick and Cody Morissette were featured on this year's USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award Preseason Watch List.
Four different Eagle players are batting over .300, and its offense is led by Frelick who ranks among the top four in the ACC in batting average (.368), hits (43), runs (29) and doubles (10). As a team, Boston College ranks among the top four in the conference in 10 different offensive categories, highlighted by a league-best 61 doubles and seven triples.
On the mound, Friday and Saturday starters Mason Pelio and Emmet Sheehan have each made seven starts in as many appearances and lead the staff with 35.2 and 40.0 innings thrown, respectively. The pair additionally owns three wins apiece while Sheehan paces the team with 53 strikeouts, which ranks third among all ACC pitchers.
