Offensively what has been working so well for you?
One of the things has been working has been me getting downhill. Another thing is me attacking the offensive glass. One of the other things has been me getting defensive rebounds and pushing in transition.

First road game, slow start.  Did playing on the road attribute to it?
Yeah, I think with the first road game, everything is different from playing at home. How we prepare, the warmups.

Another thing is us being better on the defensive end. We were letting them off the hook.  We weren’t pressuring them enough, and they were hitting shots.

Can limiting turnovers be a strength of this team?
Most definitely... once we get into conference play we know every possession matters.

Can you assess the freshmen’s performance?
Both of those guys, their confidence is at another level. I know when I came in, my confidence wasn’t that high.

I see it everyday in practice,  Our practices are intense so I know when the game comes those guys will be good. Even as freshmen, as we continue in the year they’ll keep getting better.

Is rebounding on the defensive end something you've emphasized?
That was one of the reasons... I know that’s one of my strengths, getting a rebound and going in transition, plus with us losing Manny, I knew I had to pick it up on the boards.
