Kevin Keatts: "We'll Approach It One Game At A Time"

“When you come into this situation it’s you win or go home. I think that’s important to us, and I think they understand that.”
“I don’t know, but I can tell you that we’ll approach it one game at a time. I have no idea. When you think about the NCAA we’re excited and hope we have the opportunity to have our name called on Sunday.’
“I think we answered all the critics from last year. One group would say your non-conference schedule wasn’t strong enough and we now have a non-conference schedule below 100. Another group would say that you possibly didn’t beat any of the guys ahead of you, but if you look at our Quad 1 wins, they are impressive, especially going to Virginia and winning. Beating Duke at home... beating Wisconsin who is winning the Big 10. Going to Syracuse... we’re only one of a few ACC teams who went to a mid-major place and won with UNCG.”
“We have four [Quad 1] and if UNCG didn’t lose to Chattanooga we’d have five Quad 1 wins.”
“We expect to play hard. I think everybody understands who we are. We play, we get up and down. We’ll be a little more healthy. We haven’t absolutely been able to play the way we normally would because we haven’t had the depth, but we have some guys playing really good basketball.”
“D.J. Funderburk is playing inside, and he gives us a different dimension.”
“It was great to see Braxton Beverly have some success. I think he thought it was his Senior Night, even though it wasn’t. Even though he’s been at NC State forever, he played as if he was a senior.”
“I love it. One of the things we did, we got a sneak preview of Greensboro playing in the coliseum against UNCG.”
“I want to congratulate Wes Moore and our girls team. What a tremendous job that those guys did, they won the tournament and have a chance to go and compete for a national championship.”
