“It’s another challenge because they handed us a loss the first game of the season. That’s still pretty fresh to us.”

“They are having a pretty good year.  I got to watch the end of their game against Virginia, and it was a close game. It looked like it was a good game. We have to be ready to go.”

“It’s the second game in a row we lost on the last possession to Georgia Tech.”

“I think overall we’ve been locking in better defensively. We’re down some bodies and kind of fluctuating between the number of bodies we’ve had all season. Everyone is locking in.”

“D.J. is my guy. We go back four years now, three different schools together. I’m proud of how he’s come along and the type of player he is, how he’s playing for us, the different things he’s doing for us right now.”

“The toughest part is making sure you’re locked in and focused. You’re not enjoying the win as much. We had a big win against Clemson, but we knew we had a quick turnaround against a really good Virginia team.”

“Sometimes you have to start focusing more on what’s next ahead.”

“It’s going to be exciting; the atmosphere will be insane. It’s always fun to play [North Carolina], but we’re trying to treat everyone the same right now because you can’t take any game lightly, especially this year.”

“We have to treat every game the same no matter who it is.”

“It’s definitely is a tough place to play. When we played their our freshman year we lost there, but for us to overcome that and be able to win in a tough place against a good team, it shows what we’re capable of.”

“We’re going to take a long hard look at the first game and see what went wrong, what we didn’t do well, and build from that.  We were down two or three players that first game, as well, so that will make a big difference.”

“We know how each other plays so there won’t be much we change in our system.”

“He was really good.  At Hargrave we pressed, too; we pressed a little differently there and he was such an athlete. He was on the top of the press, he was up there trapping guards with me, and that’s hard to do.”

“I think he’s figuring out how to use his skill in more areas, as well. He’s always been an extremely skilled guy.”
