COMMIT ALERT: Nick Farrar Commits to NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Apex (NC) Friendship 2020 forward Nick Farrar‍, who added an offer from the Wolfpack this week.

“I was really excited,” Farrar stated.  “Coach Keatts called and said they were ready to move the process along by offering me a scholarship.  He said they had evaluated me for a long time and were ready to offer.

“It means so much with the relationship I have with coach Keatts and coach JJ.  It’s mind-blowing to get an offer from NC State and have a chance to play in the ACC, because being in the ACC is like a dream.  It's the second-best conference in the world beside the NBA, if you ask me."

Farrell is NC State’s first 2020 commitment.  As a junior he averaged 18.9 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 steals.

He picked the Wolfpack over offers from Cincinnati, Texas A&M, LSU, and Seton Hall, among others.
