Senior Guard Torin Dorn

On BC defensive adjustments in second half...
“I think they just executed a little bit. They got some offensive rebounds and were able to score some second chance points on us, but we just had to tie some things up, and we were able to come out with the win.”

On team’s focus after losing lead to BC comeback...
“It’s definitely important, you know, it shows resilience and our fight. Those were the keys coming into the game. We had to fight, and I think we did that. A lot of guys stepped up to play.”

On the last five minutes of the game being the best of the game...
“I would say so. Definitely. The overtime section was the best. It was the most fluid we were offensively, and we got stops. That's all you can ask for in overtime.”

On what created the overtime flow...
“I mean I just think we just had to stay at it. We had to outlast them in the end.”

On hitting another gear in overtime...
“Based on the way we practice and the way we condition, we get stronger as the game goes on. In overtime periods we are able to outlast teams and show our conditioning off a little bit.”

On team’s confidence headed into overtime...
“We were super confident. I feel like we had our chance to win in regulation and we didn't, so we felt like we left a lot of things on the table, so we were able to just clean those things up in overtime and come out with a win.”

Sophomore Guard Devon Daniels

On overtime...
“I think we played hard the whole game, but at the end we have to learn when we have a lead to keep it consistent and keep on playing hard. In overtime we got into a little huddle and we said we really have to turn it on-- we’ve been playing well the whole game, so let's finish strong.”

On his intensity...
“I just play with a lot of fire. I feel like I haven't been doing that for some of the season, so I’m just trying to get that back and play how I play.”

On if this was his best game...
“I wouldn’t say that. I’m just really proud of how well this team fought and how we played to the end to get it done in overtime.”

On the team in overtime...
“We just said it was time to take it home. We were at home and we kind of let them come back at the end of the second half. We just said to finish the game strong.”

On the scoring drought...
“Basketball is a game of runs, so we just had to get back to our offense and get back to sharing the ball more. I think we broke out of it well.”

On Ky Bowman’s shot at the end of regulation...
“It was a good day for us. He’s a good player, but I thought I was there and I’m just glad he missed it.”

On the end of regulation and leading into overtime...
“We just came together. We were up and we let them come back. We knew we were at home, so we just needed to finish strong to win the game.”

On the ball hitting the official on his steal late in the second half...
“My head was in the game. I didn’t even hesitate when it hit him. I’m glad he was there though.

“That was a great bounce, a great bounce. When that happened I didn't even think about it.”
