Weil Hoping to Earn Spot With the Pack

The graduation of Kyle Bambard will open up a special teams spot for NC State, and the Pack may have a replacement waiting in the wings after Mt Pleasant (SC) Wando PK Andrew Weil recently announced his plans to walk on at NC State.

Weil, 5-11 and 170 pounds, is one of South Carolina’s top kickers and in 2019 put 30 of 42 (71%) kickoffs into the endzone for touchbacks, converted 25 of 25 PATs, and made 9 of 16 field goals with a long of 46 yards.
