Several NC State players met with the media after the Wolfpack's 85-57 win over Saint Peter's.

Senior Guard Torin Dorn
On Saint Peter’s...
They kind of abandoned their offense. They did a little isolation game and it took us a little bit to get used to it and learn how to defend them. Once we figured it out, we went on a run and the rest was history.
On Coach Keatts’ adjustments...
He told us to keep them in front of us, keep them out of the lane, and contest three-pointers.
On team chemistry...
I think we are getting better. A lot of guys are itching to play and show what they can do. Anytime you have 10 guys who want to play and want to play hard, you're going to get better. I think we are getting better and improving.
On versatility...
We have mismatches all over the court. We just have to take advantage of it.
Freshman Guard Jericole Hellems
On playing center...
I continue to learn more every day. I work out with the bigs every day, so I try to take pieces of Wyatt Walker’s and DJ Funderburk’s game and soak everything in as a freshman.
On the scoring run in first half...
We shared the ball well. It helps everyone to have confidence in each other to make shots and move the ball as much as possible. Coach Keatts stresses to get everyone the ball and that will allow everyone to eat.
On the first part of first half...
We were stiff but that happens. What matters is we came out, we worked hard, and we got the win.
On his three-point shooting...
Everyday I try to work on every part of my game and shooting is a part of it.
On his first five games...
I feel like I give 100% every night. Coach Keatts tries to instill in us that as long as you’re giving effort and working hard on the defensive end, the offense will come, and you’ll be a part of it.”
On balanced scoring...
I think it gives everyone confidence that your teammate is there to pick you up if you’re not having a great game.
