Junior Forward Wyatt Walker
On the team...

“We’re playing well and averaging around 100 points per game and guys are sharing the
basketball in transition. Defensively, we’re forcing a lot of turnovers so we feel very good about
the first four games.”

Senior Guard Eric Lockett
On adjusting to a new team..

“It’s taught me different ways that I can help the team out because I’ve played many different
roles. Right now, I’m figuring out my role for this team and trying to do whatever I can to help.”

On his role...
“I can score, come in on the defensive end and get stops, rebound, get assists and just make
plays for the team.”

On choosing NC State...
“I wanted to come to a place where I knew we were going to win. It has a good culture and I
knew I was going to get coached hard every day and that’s what I’m getting right now.”

Junior Guard CJ Bryce
On non-conference games...
“We want to take these games as if they’re one of the bigger opponents we have in the future.
We don’t want to play down to our competition. We want to play hard every time out and I think
we’re doing a very good job of that right now.”

On surprises through four games...
“There aren’t many surprises as of now. We’re only through our fourth game now, but I love how
hard we play. When you play for Coach Keatts, he’s going to push you that hard every day. We look forward to getting better as a team every day. I know how much talent we have and how
many points we can score.”

On playing tougher competition...
“I’m definitely looking forward to it.”

On Maine’s offense...
“I feel like we got better playing against a Princeton-style offense that they had. That was
something we were looking forward to playing against today.”

On games like this...
“We need to keep playing hard. When you’ve got a big lead going into halftime, teams tend to
come out flat, but Coach Keatts tells us when we come out the game that the game is zero to
zero and you’re starting over again.”
