COMMIT ALERT: Clark Chooses NC State
NC State landed a huge commitment today from North Stanly (NC) four-star defensive tackle CJ Clark, who announced his decision at 2pm on his Twitter account.
Clark picked the Wolfpack over Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, among others.
Clark is rated the No. 9 player in the state by Inside Pack Sports, and he is a consensus four-star recruit nationally.

Clark totaled 79 tackles and nine sacks last season, as he is a defensive tackle capable of occupying blockers and pressing the pocket. The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder is similar to his cousin, former NC State star BJ Hill, in that Clark can play both tackle positions and is strong at the point of attack.
C.J. Clark is NC State's 14th commitment in the 2019 recruiting class and the Wolfpack's 11th in-state commitment.
