Hough (NC) cornerback Jalen Frazier‍ continues to add offers, but that didn't stop him from pulling the trigger on Wednesday and picking NC State.

"I've said that when I felt the time was right I was going to do it, and now the time is right," Frazier told Inside Pack Sports.  "It was time for me to commit to NC State."

Jalen Frazier picked the Wolfpack over several high-major programs.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback picked the Wolfpack over offers from North Carolina, Michigan, Maryland, Duke, and West Virginia among others.  The Terps just offered earlier this week, but with Frazier, his decision came down to one big factor.

"The biggest thing for me was the staff," he said.  "We have a great relationship and I know how much they want me.  Whenever I go to NC State I feel like it's home, so I knew that was the place for me."

A physical defender, Frazier totaled 98 tackles last season. He's capable of playing cornerback or nickel in NC State's scheme while also handling return duties if needed.

With his decision behind him, Frazier plans to attend the Nike Camp this weekend in Charlotte.  He also will be a mid-year enrollee.t

"I'm signing with NC State in December and enrolling in January," he said.  "I can't wait to get there."

Frazier is NC State's fourth commitment in the 2019 recruiting class and the first defensive player to commit to the Wolfpack.

Inside Pack Sports will have more on his decision in the near future so stay tuned!
