COMMENTARY: Reasons Behind NC State's Fast Start on Recruiting Trail

With two commitments and nearly a dozen prospects listing NC State as their favorite school, the Wolfpack is off to an unprecedented start on the recruiting trail. I’ve covered State’s recruiting for roughly two decades and I can’t recall a better starting point for a class.

So what’s the reasons behind the success? Why has this year been different? There are several reasons but I think the most critical boil down to two things: winning and perception.
