The NC State softball program has signed eight incoming student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday as announced by head coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift.

Joining the Wolfpack for the 2023 season are: Amanda Hasler, Madison Inscoe, Ellie Goings, Bailey Edwards, Wynne Gore, Nadia Sykes, MaKayla Marbury and Rylee Wyman. According to Extra Inning Softball, the Pack's 2023 signing class ranks fourth in the country as NC State signed six players in the Extra Elite 100.

"Our staff is extremely excited about this recruiting class for several reasons but above all, each of these student-athletes are great people." Patrick-Swift said. "With a continued program emphasis on hitting the long ball, it's no surprise that home runs are something this group loves to do in the box. This class of hitters has all been recruited under our 'Home Run Mindset', so they've already been playing high school and travel ball with the expectation that every time they step into the batter's box that they are going to hit it out of the park."

"From the pitching side, we also feel that we've hit it out of the park with the arms that are coming in. From experience in facing some of the best teams and hitters in the country on the travel ball circuit to being integral parts of their teams winning national tournaments, we can't say enough how excited we are about these pitchers. We can't wait to get these student-athletes to Raleigh, get them in Wolfpack gear, and all get the chance to finally work together!"
