so a tip, a two month surveillance, and a raid yielded less than an ounce of weed?

nice use of time and public resources

As previously mentioned, what an embarrassing waste of public time/resources. As for Taggart, he did a good job turning around USF, but the dude doesn't scare me. They're going to miss Jimbo.

This is one way to clean up the reputation of a school. Discover a kid tends to break the rules, then stage a minor nuisance violation to show how diligent the local law enforcement and school officials are in cooperating to clean out the bad elements from that program. Rumors contained. Preemptive strike to teach the student how quickly things can escalate. School image enhanced. Law enforcement image enhanced. Player eligibility preserved.

If this occurred in Holeville, I would absolutely suspect this; but, I am not confident the folks in Noleville are that sophisticated.

Interesting thought.

What if they actually found exactly what they thought was going on to begin with, but it somehow only "ended up" being residue, etc. on the reports? That would potentially reign in the problem, wouldn't it?

Too bad that we have to be skeptical of anything / everything nowadays (and I'm talking to myself here, not the OP)...
