Samantha Brummell, the best player in the 2019-2020 class, picked Norte Dame over NC State and seven other schools today. It was a long shot for us to get her considering the other teams on her list. Momentum is still really positive for Coach Moore's program. I'm expecting some really highly regarded girls to have the Pack on their list as the summer camp season gets ramped up.

Just got a verbal from ESPN #15 6-0 wing Jakia Brown-Turner for 2019 class. Legit top 20 recruit.

The 2019 class is shaping up to be the best Women's class in a very long time! Everyone knows that Wes Moore is a great X's and O's coach. His teams always overachieve. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe that every year since he has returned to Raleigh, State has finished higher in the standings than they were picked. The question about him has always been his ability to bring in ACC caliber talent. One can't help but wonder just what he will be able to do with top level talent in his program. Looks like we are all soon to find out. As a long time follower of the program, I'm really excited to see what's to come!

And Jada's brother, Dylan, who's an all-acc performer on the State track team, just announced his transfer to LSU. There's got to be more to this story, but I suppose it's none of my bidness. Wish them both well.

I'll never forget their Dad catching that miracle pass to beat SC.
