Two members of the the NC State swimming and diving teams were recognized by the ACC league office Tuesday for their weekend performances in the dual meet against the Texas Longhorns. Heather MacCausland was honored as the ACC Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week, while Kacper Stokowski was named the ACC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week.
As Co-Swimmers of the Week, MacCausland shares the honor with Louisville's Gabi Albiero, while Stokowski and Denis Petrashov of Louisville represent the weekly conference award on the men's side.


ACC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Senior swimmer Heather MacCausland picked up the first ACC Swimmer of the Week honor of her career after a successful weekend of competition in Austin, Texas. In the dual meets against the Longhorns, the Downington, Penn. native played a key part in the Wolfpack women's two first-place relay finishes. In the 200-yard medley relay, NC State, with MacCausland swimming the breaststroke leg, posted the fastest time in the country this season (1:33.49).

Individually, MacCausland finished third in both the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events, lowering her personal best time in the 200-yard event in the process.


ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Marking the second ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week honor for the senior this season, Kacper Stokowski picked up this week's honor after winning both individual backstroke events and two relays over the weekend. Leading off the 400-yard medley relay, Stokowski's time (44.79) on the backstroke leg became the fastest time in the country this season. In addition to wins in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke, the native of Poland was also a part of the Pack men's sweep of the top three places in the 100-yard butterfly.
