For the second time this season, NC State's Katelyn Tuohy was named the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches National Athlete of the Week.

Over the weekend, Tuohy won the women's 6K championship at the Nuttycombe Invitational with a time of 19:44.3. Tuohy's performance helped the Wolfpack leave Madison with a first-place finish, edging out New Mexico in a tiebreaker.

Tuohy was previously recognized by the USTFCCCA after her record-breaking performance at the Joe Piane Invitational earlier this month. Tuohy, a native of Stony Point, NY, broke the course record with a time of 15:50.0.

Tuohy is the defending 2022 NCAA Outdoor champion (5000m) , the 2022 ACC Outdoor champion (1500m) and the 2022 ACC Indoor champion (5000m).

She is a six-time All-American and a five-time All-ACC performer. In 2022 Tuohy was named the ACC Outdoor Track Performer of the Year.
