After scoring four goals in the Wolfpack's pair of contests last week, NC State men's soccer midfielder Conor Kelly has earned the nod as ACC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

The recognition marks the first ACC weekly award for a member of the program since Oct. 15, 2018 when Leon Krapf and David Loera swept the honors.

Kelly netted a hat trick against Wofford (4-0 win on Aug. 29) and scored his team's only goal against Mercer (1-1 draw on Sept. 2) less than a minute and a half into the outing. His hat trick marked the first for a member of the NC State men's soccer program since at least the 2013 season.

A native of Rumson, N.J., Kelly has scored a team-leading five goals in the Wolfpack's first three outings of the 2022 campaign. That number is tied as the national lead, and Kelly is the only of the five players with five goals this season to accomplish that feat in just three games.
