NC State earned it's second-straight victory with a convincing 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-23) win over Clemson Friday night in Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack were led once again by the dynamic duo of Melissa Evans and Jade Parchment with 15 kills and 13 kills, respectively. .
NC State (7-7, 6-7 ACC) had a season-high .407 hitting percentage and 54 kills, the most in a three-set match this season for the Wolfpack. The .407 team hitting percentage is the highest for NC State since Sept. 14, 2017 and the highest against a conference opponent since Oct. 30, 2016 against Virginia Tech.
Taylor Rowland had her third-straight double-digit kill performance, registering 11. NC State successfully got its middles involved as Pam Chukwujekwu had nine kills and Riley Shaak had five. Kristen McDaniel notched the eighth double-double of her career taylling 45 assists and 13 digs in the three sets.

Clemson came out aggressive, jumping to an early 9-3 lead to start the match. NC State fired back with an 11-3 run, behind three kills from Jade Parchment and two by Melissa Evans. With a 14-12 lead for NC State, Clemson attempted to regain momentum, but NC State's balanced attack proved to be the difference. The Wolfpack had five players record kills in the first set, including three of more by Evans, Parchment, Chukwujekwu and Shaak.
Melissa Evans dominated the second set as she logged a set-high eight kills, without an error, for a .727 hitting percentage. Unlike the first set, both teams prevented large scoring runs as the set had 22 tie scores and 11 lead changes. Evans ended the set with her 13th kill f the match for the 2-0 Wolfpack advantage.
Similar to the second set, the third set was a back-and-forth affair as neither team was able to separate from the other. Taylor Rowland imposed her will as she had a set-high six kills. Nearing the end of the set, Clemson took a 24-22 lead; however, after an NC State challenge, the Tigers were called for a net violation which resulted in the score being reversed to 23-23. Moments later, NC State notched the victory on a kill from Parchment to complete the team's third sweep of the season.
