The NC State men's swimming and diving team earned three Atlantic Coast Conference annual awards for the 2019-20 season, as announced by the conference on Friday. Braden Holloway (Men's Swimming Coach of the Year), Coleman Stewart (Men's Swimmer of the Year) and James Brady (Men's Diver of the Year) garnered honors for the Pack.

Holloway earned ACC Men's Swimming Coach of the Year for the sixth consecutive season, leading the team to its sixth consecutive ACC title and 30th program title overall. The championship squad won seven event titles and totaled 13 podium finishes.

Stewart garnered ACC Men's Swimmer of the Year honors for the second consecutive season, becoming just the second NC State swimmer (Simonas Bilis) and the fifth ACC swimmer to accomplish the feat since being awarded starting in 1990. The Wolfpack has claimed Swimmer of the Year honors in each of the last six seasons.

At the ACC Championship, the senior was named MVP for the second consecutive conference championship after winning his third consecutive title in both the 100-yard (44.04) and 200-yard backstroke events (1:37.71), breaking the conference and school records in both races. His performance marked just the third time an ACC swimmer won three consecutive ACC titles in the events.

Stewart was also a part of the gold medal 200-yard medley relay (1:24.13) and 400-yard freestyle relay (2:48.30) squads, and additionally individually found the podium in the 100-yard butterfly, earning silver-medal honors.

Brady, the first NC State diver to garner the ACC Men's Diver of the Year honors, came on strong in the postseason for the Pack. The senior was named the ACC Championship's Most Valuable Diver after putting together an impressive three-day performance that included three finals appearances at the conference championships for the first time in his career. He captured the three-meter board ACC title with a 392.65 in the finals.

His Most Valuable Diver accolades marked the third time in program history a Wolfpack male student-athlete has earned the award, and he became the first NC State man to do so since 2000 (Andy Johnson).

At the NCAA Zone B Championships, Brady advanced to all three finals (one-meter board, three-meter board and platform) in Athens, Ga. On the final day of competition, he punched his ticket to the NCAA Championship on platform with a 713.70 score on the day.
