NC State gymnast Drew Grantham has been named East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Senior Gymnast of the Year, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Grantham concluded the 2019 season ranked in the top ten of the EAGL on bars, beam, floor and all-around. Her National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 9.910 placed her at the top of the league standings on floor, and the Durham, N.C. native was the only gymnast in the EAGL with a floor NQS above 9.9. Nationally, she checked in to the Road to Nationals Rankings tied for No. 23 on floor.

Grantham attained First Team All-EAGL honors on bars, beam, floor and all-around, garnering the most All-EAGL honors on the team. She was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week three times during the 2020 season, and her 23 podium finishes over the course of the season were the most on the squad. 15 of those podium finishes were individual titles.

The senior achieved career-high scores on bars and beam during the 2020 season and tied her career-best 9.925 floor score three times. She scored a 9.900 or higher in the event in the final six meets of the season and did not score below a 9.850 on floor in any meet during her senior campaign.
