So updated watchlist:

1. Hugley (has visited; likley lead; still visiting Pitt and Miami)
2. Hall (working on rescheduling; may trail Louisville)
3. Langford (visited this weekend; but a ton of connections to BC)
4. Ebenezer Dowuona (visited this weekend; if we land Hugley we likely won't take)
5. Keon Ambrose (no idea where this will end up as we just offered and he's from Canada; has OVed to Dayton)
6. Shakeel Moore (likley heading to providence)

Jeff Capel will be at Brush today for 4 C John Hugley. John will be officially visiting Pitt September 27.

Jason Capel will be at Moravian Prep today for 5 SF Josh Hall. Pitt is still involved here along with NC State, Louisville, and others.

Glad we were able to lock up Hayes and not come up empty handed.

Hopefully we can put some pressure on Hugley and build a good class.

Any word on Langford's visit?

Been watching more stuff on Ambrose. Actually a solid prospect. I would assume with his versatility he is pretty valuable in a system like ours. Sort of remind me of a bigger version of TD. Not as explosive but does a little bit of everything.

I agree he doesn't have one skill that sticks out but he's good at just about everything.

Agreed. A taller TD with a better shot. I'll take that any day!

That sucks about Shakeel. Like a lot of you guys, I really liked his game. However, I am glad we locked up Hayes( + Farrar). I think we shift our focus to landing a big and a wing with those last two spots.

This one is just getting started.

If you were looking for a Manny Bates clone, this kid is it. Shot blocking is his specialty. Got a bit of a touch on his short jumpers and can make his freethrows. Still a bit of a project on offense. Improved footwork and getting stronger will make a big difference. Team Loaded Va kid. Originally from Hampton Va.

Ncaa is now allowing official visits stating fall of junior year. It has lead to a national trend of early commitments even though it didn't work for us with thomas

It'll likely go 1 of 2 ways. The kid loves the visit is blown away and Commits; or the more likely scenario is he wants to take more visits and then we have a Cam Thomas scenario. Maybe the staff feel good about their chances with the first scenario.

Haha yes I figured it would go 1 of those ways. I was just saying as a Junior taking unofficials seemed more beneficial than taking an OV. I would think you would want your OV to be your list of 5 schools left or whatever.

Louisville may still end up with an outstanding PG in 2020

Rumor is 5star Devin Askew will reclass and looks like the Cards have a very good shot at landing him.
