As if more evidence is needed to prove that leftists are totally insane, and live in an alternate reality. A fantasy world created by Marxist-run universities, Hollywood, and the Lamestream media where "evil white people" are the source of all the world's problems, communism creates a utopia, the government can give us "free" health care and college, unborn children "are not human", there are 72 different genders, you can have totally open borders and still have a country, etc.

So the New York Times had a hand in this.
