Former President Donald Trump is taking a trip to the Tar Heel state this summer.

He'll be in Greensboro July 15 as part of his American Freedom Tour. The event will be all day, from 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The venue hasn't been announced yet. Tickets for general admission are $35.

Judge Jeanine Pirro, Donald Trump Jr., Dinesh D'Souza, Kimberly Guilfoyle and Sheriff Mark Lamb are some of the other event participates.

Trump last paid a visit to North Carolina April 9 when he came to Selma to support Republican candidates running in the primary. He backed Ted Budd in the U.S. Senate race, and Budd took the Republican nomination Tuesday night with 60% of the vote. He'll face Democratic nominee Cheri Beasley in November.

Trump's influence loomed large over the May 17 primary election in N.C., and most of the candidates he backed won.
