It's not "mainstream" anything. And it's not "news".

The Establishment media is owned and run by far-Left Marxist ideologues. Period. And that includes Fox, which is fake conservative controlled opposition.

It's communist/Establishment propaganda.

The fact that they bring back a disgusting clown like this Toobin character, and pretend that he is a "serious journalist" is emblematic of how much of a COMPETE JOKE that CNN and the Establishment media are.

Who even watches CNN? You'd have to be completely brain dead to watch that and think you are getting real "news" and truthful information. Maybe watch it just to get a laugh or monitor the enemy and see what the latest lies and enemy propaganda is.

The main way FoxNews acts to betray conservatives is by promoting and supporting these RINO fake conservative politicians. Fox also went along with the blatantly rigged 2020 "election", not exposing and opposing the Democrat/communist coup and stolen election.

That is interesting, but that article sounds more like the fawning leftist press trying to build some nonpartisan street cred for their beloved candidate. Regardless of where Murdoch's true politics may lie, he at least knows how to take financial advantage of a largely untapped market.

I didn't read the article; however, the son in charge of FoxNews is a borderline Communist. Fox has some good opinion people; however, the only one that doesn't appear to give a damn is Tucker. He will talk about anything. He must be killing it in profitability for Fox, because he can say anything he wants.

The news side of Fox doesn't go deep into issue; rather appears controlled and measured.

Laws are laws. They are there for a reason. Glad she is contributing to society.

For every one of your "success" stories I can post one for illegals driving the wrong way killing innocent victims or better yet getting charged with sex abuse of minors.

Save your feel good story for another day. You and the rest of your liberal comrades seem to ignore every negative and only focus on stories such as these.

If illegal aliens were voting overwhelmingly for Republicans, then Democrats/Leftists would be singing a completely different tune, and calling for the border to be shut down.

But since illegals vote for the communists/Democrats, they are fine with illegals flooding the country in violation of our laws.

The solution to the illegal immigration problem is very simple. All you have to do is ACTUALLY ENFORCE the existing laws, and make it very costly and difficult for people to illegally enter our nation -- such as making it near impossible for them to work or get housing, fining them very heavily (confiscating their property). Mexico puts illegal immigrants from their southern border (from Honduras, etc) in work camps for 6 months, and will throw U.S. citizens in prison for several months if caught in Mexico illegally.

The "solution" is not to give more amnesty. That will only EXACERBATE the problem, and cause millions more to illegally enter the nation.

We can only have so many people living here in the United States. We have to have a cap/limit to the number that immigrate. If you just say that an unlimited number can immigrate, then 6/7 billion people will try to come here.

This is absolutely true about a number of things. If people who can't make their way to voting place or get IDs were voters for GOP, the media and Dems would be screaming bloody murder. "Every vote counts" is clearly "as long as it is for us".
Likewise, if those same voters were GOP supporters, the GOP would do all they could to make sure they could get to the polls.

I don't know that I believe that she makes more money that everyone else at the restaurant, but I have no problem believing that her and her family are the hardest working. I think that speaks more to the culture problem in this country than the woman and her work ethic.

Since I was a kid my day has always told me that I can't control if i'm the smartest person in the room (and I may not be), but i could be the hardest working person in the room and at the end of the day the effort to work hard will almost always overcome someone who is smart but doesn't apply themselves.

I've noticed it with alot of the people that I have hired over the years. Some are smarter than me, but not a single one will ever outwork me to solve a problem. Unfortunately that isn't the case for others.

Because they are probably getting paid in cash and the owner is evading paying payroll taxes because he knows they are illegal.

If you only read the tweet, it makes it sound like they are freezing teachers/state workers pay. If you actually open the article, it states:

Not sure why anyone watches WRAL as they are the biggest frauds on TV. I haven't watched that piece of trash in over a year after they began to continuously try shape the news to suit their own purposes.

I dont really watch any TV news at this point, because all of them are trying to sell you an opinion. I do follow WRAL on Twitter as I do like to keep up with whats going on locally. But in the last few months, Ive noticed a trend with WRAL and Twitter where the majority of their tweets are about shootings/crime and less about actual local news. The tweet today piqued my interest, so I read the article and just became extremely annoyed given how the tweet framed the budget. Its so damn irritating

If you only read the tweet, it makes it sound like they are freezing teachers/state workers pay. If you actually open the article, it states:

You cannot tell me that tweet wasnt meant to be misleading, because they know some of audience will only read the tweet and get mad about it, thus dividing everyone further.

The whole thing really annoys me to no end.
Yes, they seem to ignore some budgets of the past few years which included pay increases for teachers and which Cooper vetoed.

I realize it is an "analysis" piece, though it reads much more like pure blinded opinion, but this represents the true beliefs of one of CNN's primary online reporters (I have no idea if he's on their TV network as I never watch that).

To inspire you, this is the opening -- read this, and tell me how I'm supposed to believe anything this English jackass says (I guess it makes sense given how CNN is pushing the "oh, Kamala never signed up to fix immigration, only to study it" angle. Yep, "truth restored".


Things are demonstrably better. A 300 million vaccine effort gave many their lives back and a once-apocalyptic jobs crisis is much improved. A new presidency has restored science to its rightful place. The more than 600,000 dead are honored, not ignored. And the most important antidote in a national crisis -- truth -- has made a White House comeback.

But hopes of a sudden transition to a new and carefree "Roaring 20s" are elusive. It's becoming clear that a shock-and-awe pandemic changed society in unanticipated ways that may take many years to play out. An emerging scenario, for instance, of a nation divided by Covid -- between vaccinated Democratic states and skeptical and sickened conservative bastions -- is deepening an already bitter political estrangement.

I'll be interested to know....how many of those southern states --- the demographics of who is, and who is not getting shots, versus places like say, Vermont and Maine. I'm guessing it's not just a Dem/GOP thing....

Well if you paid attention to the post here from a couple of days ago, you saw that there were not any STARK difference by race demographics for North Carolina in regard to vaccinations... there were some small but noticeable differences in the percentages and that was it.

There are no major differences between Red and Blue states either, but that will be the continued narrative regardless by our impartial media.

Every time I think about CNN I remember the entire "This is an apple" set of commercials that they did a few years ago.
