I really liked Aaron Rodgers. That guy loves Jeopardy. If he was retired/close to retirement, I think he'd jump at the chance to host permanently.

Seems like a fitting transition. Wonder how long they'll stick with it; I could see it having legs for awhile.

Hubris. If he had just selected someone other than himself, he'd still have a job and no one would care. Hope he lands somewhere and cancel culture doesn't claim another victim but I'm kind of struggling to feel sorry for him.

I would argue this has nothing to do with cancel culture. I think this is someone in a very high profile corporate job making very bad corporate decisions and then getting fired for it.

And I would argue that you're completely wrong, as evidenced by this NY Times article followed by the definition of cancel culture.
