Here you go with the "amen and a-women.." In addition to this absurd understanding of the word "Amen" the new rules for congress state that you cannot say "man, woman, mother, father, brother, sister etc..." or any gender describing noun. Race to the top for stupid.

All I am saying is if there is truly institutional racism companies are quietly doing some subtle things to help break it. I like it because it has been subtle and as far as I know the government has not tried to enforce it.
It doesn't bother me in the slightest that they are being more inclusive in that regard with TV advertising.
But it does bother me that a traditional white couple is now apparently 100% tabboo... the only commercials I saw over the holidays that had white couples were the carryovers from last year. *December to remember, etc.

My guess is that this is the same phenomenon as when you learn a new word that you've never known the definition of, and then you promptly see it three times in the next two days when you didn't remember seeing it your whole life up until yesterday.
I'm sure there are more mixed race couples in commercials than 10 or 20 years ago but I doubt they're the preponderance. You're just tuned into them and noticing them more.
