If Bubba leaves the 43 anyone have guesses as to who could potentially take his place. Replace Bubba with Larson? Too soon? LOL I've assumed RPM would have to look at the X-Finity series should Bubba bolt.

.@Erik_Jones has multiple ride options he's looking at for 2021, and his attorney, Alan Miller, says: "I'm very confident he's going to find a good ride; we've already had some discussions, and I expect in the next week or so to put something together for him for next year.

It was definitely on the table but I think they've moved on from that possibility. If they were to revisit it, not completely out of the realm that EJ could replace Bowman however.

If Larson has a chance to come back anywhere next year it's SHR. Obviously Ford has put money behind Briscoe and ultimately will depend on what they decide to do with Bowyer.

Briscoe will end up in a Cup car next year some I'm pretty certain...Gragson I'm not so sure

Alan Miller says that there is no set timetable to get Jones' 2021 deal done: "We could have something done today or next Wednesday or a week from then."

Miller also represents @JimmieJohnson, so it seems likely he'll check in with @TeamHendrick about the No. 48 availability.

Kevin Harvick holds off Denny Hamlin to win at Michigan. It's his 6th win of the season & 55th of his career. He's now tied with Rusty Wallace for 10th on the all time wins list

So the doubleheader races.....maybe they should look at mixing them up a little. Both races are run under the exact same weather conditions, so of course the same teams have dominated both days, as long as they didn't get caught up in an accident (idiot Kesolowski).
IIRC, it was Harvick-Hamlin both days in Pocono, and pretty much both days in Michigan.
Maybe if one was a night race, then a day race....the different conditions would lead to differing results, up to a point?

Speedway Motorsports is experimenting with concession stand technology that allows fans to scan a QR code to select menu items, so that people don't have to yell through masks/plexiglass.

SMI has also gone to fully mobile ticketing/wants to make that permanent moving forward. https://t.co/ABZWqwjdVv

Darlington Raceway announces plans for fans at Southern 500. Fans will be moved to seats "as comparable as possible" to what they bought for social distancing. They will be screened entering the track and must wear masks. State approved 8,000 for the race. https://t.co/8QqT1gPcvh

Joe Gibbs Racing announced Monday that Christopher Bell will drive the No. 20 Toyota in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021.

Bell is currently a Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate with Leavine Family Racing, which team owner Bob Leavine indicated Aug. 4 that it had sold its charter would shut down at season's end. The 25-year-old driver replaces Erik Jones, who will leave JGR and the No. 20 team after the 2020 campaign.

.@NBCSN earned a 1.01 rating and 1.649 million viewers for Saturday's NASCAR Cup race from Michigan, while Sunday's event earned a 1.43 and 2.371 million.

That's down from a 1.8 and 2.9 million last year, as NASCAR faced added competition from @PGAChampionship, @NBA and @NHL. https://t.co/NDneIx525b
