100% legal and here's the proof. I'm in NC and this showed up today via UPS from Seelbach's.
Nice. Now, help me here, what do you have there?
Couple of Bardstown Bourbon Company Origin High Wheats. Underneath those two are a Green River Full Proof and a Pursuit United Double Oak Bourbon Pick selected by Bourbon Social Single Barrel Club.
Have you had the Origin before (is this a re-order)?
I have. In fact, I've had the BBC Origin Straight Bourbon, the BBC Bottled in Bond Wheated Bourbon and the aforementioned BBC Origin High Wheat Bourbon. All three are quite good at the price point, IMO. It's been my experience that you can find the regular bourbon and the bottled in bond wheater in most any ABC store in NC. Both are solid pours. The high wheat bourbon, on the other hand, I have rarely seen on shelves, hence the reason I ordered it from Seelbach's. This is the first time I've ordered that particular bottle from them, but I have purchased several other bottles from Seelbach's over the past year or so. IMO, the BBC High Wheat compares favorably to, and is a legit substitute for, Weller Antique 107. Of course, everyone's palate is their own, so mileage may vary, as it were. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the three BBC Origin Series I've mentioned here, and I would even go so far as to say the High Wheat is worth seeking out. It's damn good.
Log off. Go outside.
