Some interesting news to start this State of Baseball presser: The @SEC is putting forth legislation to add a third full-time, paid assistant for baseball and softball. It's expected to be submitted by September and voted on in the spring of 2019.

wouldn't it be better for us if this doesn't pass? We're in the lower half of the league in funds and certainly well behind most SEC schools. Should we really be in favor of adding expense to compete in a non-rev?

The cost of adding two new assistant coaches couldn't be more than 100k. That doesn't seem like something that should break the bank.
